I see we have one reader shocked by Vijay Singh’s performance today. Perhaps the favorite to win here based on his track record in the past (three wins, including last year) finished with a 4-over 75.

He is in a tie for 124th place currently with among others, golfing giant, Charlie Wi.

While this is pretty shocking, I think it just speaks to the fickleness of golf. Some days you have it (Brian Gay) and some days you don’t.

As for being harsh on Squigly, I don’t feel too bad considering he seems to currently be going through a sample platter of John Daly’s wine. I’d joing you, but blogging and boozing don’t seem to be a good mix. This is serious stuff after all.
