Teeing Off

Golf in the Lower Hudson Valley, from high schools to the pros

The ying and the yang

April
12

The fact that I’m now feeling close to 100 percent means I was able to accompany my housemate Shaun Powell to the Augusta YMCA this morning for a welcome Saturday morning workout.

Of course, it also meant that I was able to storm right into the press room after that workout and have the week’s first three Krispy Kreme donuts.

Sometimes you’re better off being sick.

It’s raining here, by the way, although there haven’t been any delays. The bad news is those gorgeous Augusta National images you’ve become accustomed to won’t be so striking. But a softened golf course might help with that other supposed Masters tradition—a potential for birdies and eagles on the back nine.

That’s good news for a certain swoosh-wearing player
