Mike Miller and Cameron Young know the routine.
They will bump heads again tomorrow in the final of the Westchester Golf Association’s 93rd amateur championship at Rockrimmon C.C. Young, 15, dispatched Miller in the semifinals his way to a title in this event a year ago. Miller, 19, sent Young home in the quarterfinals of the Met Am later in the summer on his way to a title. In case you’re new to the planet, both players are the sons of head golf professionals.
Miller and Young have also played team events for the WGA and MGA together.
They are back on the course at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow, and will play a second 18 following a short break. I’ll be heading to Rockrimmon after lunch and will be tweeting updates, so follow me @LohudGolf if you want to keep up with Round 3.
