Cameron Young shot a 2-over 74 for the second day in a row at the U.S. Junior Amateur to finish tied for 18th in stroke play qualifying at The Golf Club of New England in Stratham, N.H. The 15-year-old from Scarborough moved on to match play and will find out his opponent tomorrow morning after the seven players who tied for 64th complete a playoff.
Nicole Morales shot a 4-over 76 at Lake Merced Golf Club in the second round of stroke play qualifying at the U.S. Girls Junior. The 16-year-old from South Salem finished tied for 11th and moved on to match play for the third straight year. She is also waiting to find out her first opponent.
