Nicole Morales and heo Humphrey have been named Rolex Junior All-Americans by the American Junior Golf Association.
Morales, a South Salem resident who’s a senior at Lake Mary Prep in Florida, was a first-team selection for the second year in a row. She reached the quarterfinals of the Polo Golf Junior Classic and won the Thunderbird International Junior. The 17-year-old who committed to Alabama finished tied for fourth at the Rolex Tournament of Champions and The PING Invitational. Morales, 17, also played on the winning U.S. team at the PING Junior Solheim Cup.
Humphrey, a Greenwich resident who attends Rye Country Day School and plays out of Sleepy Hollow, earned honorable mention honors after finishing in top-five at six AJGA events. The 17-year-old Vanderbilt commit, won his his third AJGA tournament, repeating at the AJGA Philadelphia Junior. He was tied for fourth at the Rolex Tournament of Champions. Humphrey also placed in the top five at the Western Junior Championship and Bobby Chapman Junior.
