David Pastore will turn pro with plenty of momentum.
The Greenwich resident won the 112th Met Amateur Championship at The Creek on Sunday, closing out Matt Lowe with a hole in one. He came to the 17th hole with the match dormie, and won 3 and 1.
Pastore was 1-up after the morning 18.
Not long after graduating from the University of Virginia, he won the Ike Championship along with the Westchester Open.
In the semifinals, Pastore beat Century member Sam Bernstein 1-up and Lowe downed Huntington Country Club’s Joe Saladino 2-up.
